About
From the beginning I knew I would build a practice around supporting women at all ages and stages of life, fertility and aging. I have a calling and passion to work with those growing their families - conception, pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. I am a doula, and work closely with the birth workers in our community. I’m also comfortable guiding clients through the transition of “Second Spring” (menopause). All of that said, I will support anyone that feels we may be a good fit. Have aches and pains? Don’t identify as female? You’re still welcome. I look forward to chatting with you. Please reach out with any questions.
When I’m not in the office I’m probably filling my cup with an ocean dip and beach walk at my favorite beach, Butterfly Beach. It’s truly a magical place. I am also the proud mama of my very active, intelligent and funny son (flag football season anyone?!) and our kitty, Biscuit. If I’m not with family, I am probably chipping away at the latest book, furthering my studies in Bazi (Chinese Astrology) or working on my second company, Ash & Petal.
Hello and welcome! My name is Jetta (“Yetta”) and I look forward to learning yours.
I have been lucky enough to be practicing the many modalities of Traditional East Asian Medicine (acupuncture, fire cupping, moxibustion, lifestyle guidance, nutrition and so on) in my beautiful home town of Santa Barbara, CA. Some call our little town the “American Riviera.” I call it home (and my little slice of heaven).
Growing up with a parent working in healthcare administration, and holding my fare share of gigs in the field as well, I became comfortable and at ease in the various roles a well run medical office is made of early on. I sort of fell in to the healing arts by intuition and calling, which has followed me in to practice. My studies were done at Pacific College of Health and Science and Emperor’s College. Along the way discovered what techniques, tips, tricks and connections within the community work for my clients. If I don’t have the answer or what is working, we’ll find it together.
I pride myself on a less painful, gentle technique; always following the cues of the body and individual in front of me. Scared of needles? I’ve got you.
