Therapeutic cupping has been utilized in many cultures around the world for a myriad of uses. Most notably the use of cupping has been observed in pain relief modalities and gained popularity by athletes and for anti-aging purposes. Cupping has also been used for supporting wellness around asthma, colds, coughs and so on. Join Jetta Harris, LAc for a women’s only workshop at Sage Society (click to sign up), Santa Barbara to learn the in’s and out’s of cupping at home. After a brief discussion to cover safety and the benefits of cupping, participants will have the opportunity to practice cupping on one another utilizing their own cupping sets. For the upcoming “Learning Cupping” workshop being held on September 26, 2026 @ Sage Society a cupping set will need to be brought by each participant. The following are suggested and examples of sets available via Amazon affiliate links. Other items to bring include:

• Cupping set - REQUIRED… Please note style is a personal preference. There are silicone cups or a “pump” cup style. The small cups are more specific for scars and/or facial therapy.

• Attire: Please come dressed prepared to practice cupping. Shorts and sports bras, or loose fitting clothing is recommended.

• Notebook and pen

Cancellation policy: 8+ days prior to the event will result in a full refund. Cancellations 7 days to 49 hours before the event is eligible for a 50% refund. Any cancellation made or requested 48 hours or less is not eligible for a refund.

The host reserves the right to cancel the event up to 24 hours in advance should a minimum of sign-ups not occur. If this happens a full refund will be provided to all previously registered and paid participants.
